Code of Conduct

Our commitment

Talmond Advisory L.L.C-FZ (“Talmond”, operating as Talmond Group) builds its business on trust, professionalism and integrity. This Code of Conduct sets out, in plain terms, the standards we hold ourselves to and expect from everyone who works for us or with us. It is a summary of the principles set out in full in our Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption and Ethics Policy, which prevails in the event of any question of detail.

This Code applies to all personnel of the Company, and to the third parties who act for or with us — including agents, consultants, contractors, suppliers, distributors and partners — wherever we operate.

How we do business

•    We treat people with respect. We act with honesty and professionalism and treat colleagues, clients and counterparties fairly and without discrimination or harassment.

•    We protect confidential information. We safeguard the confidential and commercially sensitive information of our clients, partners and the Company, and use it only for its proper purpose.

•    We obey the law. We comply with all applicable laws wherever we operate, including the laws of the United Arab Emirates and applicable international anti-corruption, sanctions and trade-control standards.

•    We do not pay or take bribes. We never offer, give, request or accept a bribe, kickback or any improper payment or advantage — in cash or any other form — to win business or influence a decision.

•    No facilitation payments. We do not make small unofficial payments to speed up routine processes. Our payments are only for legitimate goods and services and are properly recorded.

•    We keep gifts and hospitality modest. Business courtesies must be reasonable, transparent, never cash, and never intended to improperly influence anyone.

•    We respect sanctions and trade controls. We do business only where it is lawful to do so, and we screen our counterparties against applicable sanctions and restricted-party lists before we engage them.

•    We avoid conflicts of interest. We make decisions in the best interests of the Company and our clients, and we disclose any personal interest that could interfere with that.

•    We hold our partners to these standards. We expect the third parties who act for or with us to uphold standards consistent with this Code, and we share it with them.

Speaking up

If you have a concern about anything that may breach this Code — a suspected bribe, a sanctions issue, or any other misconduct — raise it in good faith with the Company's management. We take every concern seriously, and we do not tolerate retaliation of any kind against anyone who raises a concern in good faith, even if it turns out to be mistaken.
